What to Wear to a College Party

I came to college from a life of not partying in high school – going home and doing my homework after school and hanging out with my friends on the weekends. I quickly learned that I needed to go on a major shopping spree for the perfect party clothes. Here are five essential pieces to have in your closet and five of my favorite online stores to find clothes for college parties!

1. The cute tank

Get a cute tank that works for every occasion. It’s easy to put a cardigan or jean jacket on top when it’s a bit chillier outside. Tobi is hands down my favorite online store to shop at – you can find practically anything you’re looking for and they always have great sales.

2. The jacket

A great bomber jacket is the perfect amount of chic and warmth to have you ready for a night out. Modcloth is the perfect site for a cute modern dress or a funky sweater. It is a little more on the pricey side, but you’re definitely getting quality pieces that will last for years.

3. The skinny jeans

Jeans are obviously the most versatile piece for your wardrobe. Romwe is one of my favorite sites. They always have sales and discount codes, and they have such a great selection of clothing and accessories.

4. The wedges

I wear my wedge sandals more than anything in my closet. It’s the perfect mix of casual and dressed up that works with every outfit, and they’re especially great for parties where you’ll be walking or standing a lot. Lulu’s is also a great site that has a huge variety of options for your wardrobe.

5. The choker

Great jewelry puts the perfect touch on a party outfit. Chokers are casual and trendy, and always add a little flair to any outfit. Boohoo is a UK-based website that has great chokers at low prices and offers a little bit of everything.
