You probably have heard of some of the top music festivals, but there are so many more around the world. Each festival has something different and unique about them, giving the attendees a different experience with each festival. Plus, many have different themes, which make picking out the best music festival outfit another experience in itself.

Here are just a few music festivals you may want to add to your bucket list:

Traena Music Festival, Traena, Norway (July - July 10, 2016)

This festival is known to host international artists to play in one of the most remote locations in the world. The views are limitless at this festival: from where you are camping to where the artists are playing, all parts of this site are astonishing. The island consists of a small fishing community that is excited to host the event every year. The community created among the locals and festival-goers in this amazing location brings about another type of beauty to this island.

Melt Festival, Ferropolis, Germany (July 15 - July 17, 2016)

The Melt Festival in Germany is based around technology and music. The lights and metal structures bring about a different kind of beauty. The festival is covered in lights, and has massive metal structure that no one would even imagine existing. It is supposed to bring out the significance of technological advances, making most of these big metal structures out of this world.

Sonar Festival, Barcelona, Spain (June 16 - June 18, 2016)

A music festival in the heart of Barcelona, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, is something you don’t want to miss. Many well-known artists come to play for an enormous audience from around the world. Unlike many festivals, where you’re camping out in a field, Sonar takes place in the city. People will be piling into hotel rooms, where they’re most likely only there to sleep for a couple hours a day.

Way Out West, Goteborg, Sweden (August 11 - August 13, 2016)

Now this is a festival you don’t want to miss, especially if you love EDM music. Most people aren’t aware, but Sweden has been pumping out hits like a machine since the early 90s. Many songwriters and producers, including Avicii, Icona Pop, and Max Martin, behind the top American hits are from Sweden.

Orange Blossom Jamboree, Brooksville, Florida (May 19 - May 22, 2016)

If you want a place to really dress up at, Orange Blossom is for you. Each night they have different themes that vary by year, but some include themes from glow in the dark to Superheroes. If you want good music, a place to camp out with your friends, and awesome costumes, you may want to check out the Orange Blossom Jamboree.

These are just a few among hundreds of music festivals worldwide that happen every year. If you are looking for a reason to hit the road with some friends for the weekend and experience some new music, festivals are the way to go. It isn’t hard to find ones that are close by, or even ones across the world that will interest you.
