Applicants must be full-time incoming freshmen or transfer students majoring in chemistry with a minimum GPA of 3.5 who are residents of Allegany or Garrett in Maryland, Mineral or Hampshire in West Virginia or Somerset, Bedford or Westmoreland in Pennsylvania. Incoming freshmen must demonstrate strong academic achievement in high school, as evidenced by class rank and SAT scores in the upper quartile.
