Visual and Performing Arts Scholarships
If you include art in your life, it will benefit you greatly.
Displaying one's artistic talents opens the doors for many opportunities in life, not only for those pursuing a career in visual and performing arts.
Students are eligible for dozens of visual arts scholarships as a major in an art-related field. Majors eligible for these opportunities include, but are not limited to: dance, art history, graphic design, industrial design, interior design, studio arts, fin arts, music and music theory.
According to the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, arts are essential to developing well-rounded students. In fact, students with a high involvement in the arts were found to perform better on standardized tests than students with minimal arts involvement.
It doesn't matter if you're going to be a production designer or master pianist; so as long as you include art in your life, it will benefit you greatly.
