5 Cute and Romantic Things to Do for Your Boyfriend This Christmas
Christmas is an amazing time of year with the snow, eggnog, and, of course, shopping. Everyone gets into the holiday cheer and spreads joy all around. If you’re in a relationship, however, this time of year can be stressful. Buying gifts isn’t always easy. You may be short on cash, have no idea what to get your significant other, or you worry that what you got isn’t enough. Foregoing a gift completely may not be the best way to go, but here are some cute things to get your boyfriend for Christmas that don’t include extravagant gift-giving.
1. Surprise Him With His Favorite Coffee
After dating for a year or so, you really start to learn what your boyfriend likes and dislikes. Including his coffee habits. You’ll know if he likes cream with his coffee, prefers an iced Chai Latte, or if he likes his coffee black. These may seem insignificant, but if you go out of your way to buy your favorite man his favorite beverage, he will greatly appreciate it and know that you care about him.
2. Suggest Staying in to Netflix and Chill
Maybe he won’t want to binge watch the Christmas movies you’re dying to watch a million times, but suggesting to stay in instead of going out is a great excuse to snuggle on the couch or in bed with each other. Spending that quality time together is romantic and will let your boyfriend know that you can still have a great time with him even if you’re not doing anything.
3. Offer to Pay the Bill
There are still a lot of old fashioned guys out there who feel they have to pay for everything. As women, we enjoy feeling taken care of, but it doesn’t always have to be the guy spending money. Even if he says no, he’ll appreciate the offer and know that you don’t take him for granted.
4. Send Him an Unexpected Sweet Message
You can hand write a note or simply send him a sweet text or email at random letting him know how you feel about him. Maybe he’s having a bad day at school or work and your message is the perfect thing to lift him out of his rut. It’s an easy way to brighten up his day.
5. Ask Him What He Wants to Do
During the holidays, it’s easy to get distracted by all the holiday activities going on. You’ll probably want to do everything and might forget to check with your boyfriend to see if he really wants to do all of that too. Of course he may say yes because he sees how excited you are, but before suggesting anything, ask your boyfriend what he would like to do. This will mean a lot to him because you are showing you care about his wants.
The holidays are an exciting time, and they can be even more special when you have a special someone to share them with. Don’t forget to take some time to show your significant other how much you love and appreciate them. It’s what the season is all about, after all!
