Nursing is one of the most popular majors and career paths chosen in college, and chances are that you know somebody who is hoping to be a nurse one day. If you know a thing or two about nursing, then you know that it is not an easy thing to do. Nurses are constantly on their feet, work long shifts, and have to keep their cool during stressful situations. This Christmas, show your nursing-bound friends and family members some love with these special gifts:

We review and recommend products to help you buy the stuff you need. If you make a purchase by clicking one of our links, we may earn a small share of the revenue. Our picks and opinions are independent from any business incentives.

1. Massage

Depending where your future nurse is on their career path, they may be either slightly stressed or really stressed. Whether they’re hitting the books in school, or working with patients every day, they probably don’t have very many chances to relax. Why not gift them a massage this holiday season? It’s a nice way of saying “Hey, here’s me forcing you to relax.”

2. Personalize their passion

If the future nurse in your life is pursuing this career, it’s probably because they’re passionate about helping those in need. To help them show their love for nursing to the world, get them some personalized everyday items! To show their love while they’re at work or school, get them a cute badge reel to hold their ID or these “Nurses have heart” pens. To show their passion after hours, get the future nurse some quirky household items.

3. Themed stationery

Okay, I can’t be the only one who appreciates adorable stationary. Fun pens, notepads, and planners make work and studying a little more bearable. To get your future nurse more excited about doing their schoolwork, give them some themed stationery. Some examples include these syringe-shaped highlighters and these band-aid sticky notes.

4. Comfy Shoes

For the future nurse who is working as a CNA or already in nursing school and on their feet every day, they could really use a break. Since a break isn’t always possible for these hard workers, why not give their feet a break? Surprise your friend or family member this Christmas with some comfy yet stylish footwear that won’t tire them out, such as these pairs from K-Swiss and Nike.
