6 Christmas Movies You Can Watch on Netflix This Year

Christmas movies are one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. From Frosty the Snowman to Elf to National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, I like them all! So it’s finally the most wonderful time of the year, and here are six Christmas movies you can watch on Netflix as you curl up on the couch with a blanket and a cup of hot cocoa (don’t forget the marshmallows!).

1. How the Grinch Stole Christmas

It’s the Jim Carrey one, not the cartoon. But honestly, this is low key one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time. The Grinch is super relatable and I quote this movie on a regular basis.

2. Love Actually

YES! Arguably one of the most iconic rom-coms of our time. It’ll make you laugh. It’ll make you cry. It will somehow make you feel attracted to every single character. Alan Rickman is even in it, and we all miss him.

3. Bad Santa

For the adults in the home, Bad Santa is relatable, crude, and straight up hysterical. Definitely a must-see holiday comedy if you haven’t seen it yet. They have the second film on Netflix as well!

4. Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas

For the little ones, it’s precious and follows several mini stories of Mickey and his friends on Christmas. You’ll see Goofy, Donald Duck, Pluto, and obviously Minnie and Mickey share their holidays together.

5. The Princess Switch

This is the new Netflix original film for the season. I haven’t seen it, but it seems to be a Christmas rom-com version of Wife Swap where a princess switches places with a normal girl from Chicago and they end up falling in love with boys and all that jazz. It looks cute!

6. The Great British Baking Show: Holidays

This isn’t a movie, but I just adore The Great British Bake-Off too much not to plug this show. It’s their holiday competition, and it’s amazing. Definitely a great show to play in the background while you cook that Christmas dinner!
