With all the stress that comes with being a college student, sometimes you might wish you were one of the lucky ones who are born famous. All you would have to worry about is learning your lines for a movie, writing music, or what picture you want to upload to Instagram.
Living a celebrity life isn’t always all glitz and glam; some are actually preparing to start college, just like you. So the next time you’re up late studying or finishing a paper, just think, your favorite celebrity might be doing the same.
1. Malia Obama
Daughter of President Obama and First Lady Michelle recently moved into her dorm for her freshman year at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. There were some fans and paparazzi there, but overall the Obamas kept her move-in day low-key and normal. Malia was spotted with some new friends on her first day of classes.
2. Yara Shahidi
Harvard University will also have the pleasure of welcoming “Blackish” star Yara Shahidi to campus this year. Her application included a recommendation letter from Michelle Obama. She’ll be majoring in African American studies and sociology. Within her career, Yara Shahidi has been awarded the BET YoungStars Award and the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
3. Tiffany Trump
Tiffany is the youngest daughter of current President Donald Trump. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2016, the alma matter of her brother, Donald Jr., father, and sister Ivanka. Unlike the rest of her family, Tiffany has kept a lower profile. She is now in her first year studying law at Georgetown University.
4. Ariel Winter
Ariel Winter has grown up in front of our eyes. Ariel has had huge success playing Alex Dunphy on the hit show “Modern Family” since 2009. After taking a gap year between high school and college because of the show’s production schedule, Ariel has decided to attend UCLA as a political science major.
5. Brooklyn Beckham
As the oldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn is used to having his picture taken. He’s turning his attention to the other side of the camera this year as he attends Parson’s School of Art and Design in New York, majoring in photography.
6. Amandla Stenberg
We first saw her as Rue in “The Hunger Games,” but now she’s off to New York University to study film.
7. Madison Pettis
Madison has grown up quite a bit since you loved her in Disney Channel’s “The Game Plan.” Since then, she’s had roles in shows like “The Fosters,” and “The Real O’Neals,” and now she’s headed to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Maybe she and Amandla will be classmates!
Keep an eye out when you’re on campus this year – you never know, you could be crossing paths with one of your favorite celebrities!
