5 Must-Have Pieces for Your Spring Wardrobe
Ah, spring, how I’ve been looking forward to you. We start to see more sunshine, warmer temperatures, and less snow (unless you live in Alaska, like I do, where the snow doesn’t actually go away until the summertime). The weather becomes warm enough to break out your dresses, skirts, and short-sleeved tops, but stays cool enough to wear light jackets, sweaters, and boots. I’ve put together a list of five pieces that you absolutely need this spring (just kidding, but they are pretty great pieces). I’ve chosen versatile accessories and clothing that are flattering for everybody, so nothing crazy here. Now get out there and make some cute springtime outfits!

1. Brown Booties
Tan, beige, taupe - there are so many shades of brown you can choose from. Booties can range from short heel to high heel, depending on your taste. They’re also super comfortable, and look great with so many outfits. Try pairing your booties with a pair of ripped jeans or a floral dress.
2. Off-the-Shoulder Anything
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably seen off-the-shoulder tops and dresses everywhere. They’re insanely cute, flattering on everybody, and can be dressed up or dressed down. Go and get yourself an off-the-shoulder top and dress this season! Chances are, this piece will remain popular in the summer, too.
And to go underneath:
3. Florals
Spring = flowers, so naturally, spring = florals! If you’re a floral-lover like me, spring is one of the best times of the year. Floral tops, rompers, jeans, skirts, shoes, dresses - you can literally find a floral pattern on any piece of clothing or accessory. If you want to go big with this trend, get yourself a full-floral dress or skirt and top. For a lighter approach to the trend, add a pop of florals in a handbag or a pair of heels.
4) White Sneakers
White sneakers are cool, pretty, and comfy - they’re like the perfect accessory! You can go for the sportier pick - like Adidas and Nike - or a more low cut, casual option - like Keds or Converse. Of course, they don’t have to be name brand shoes. White sneakers can be found anywhere nowadays, and range from budget-friendly to higher-priced.
5) Mini Skirts
I remember wearing these when I was a kid, and I’m so happy they’re coming back in style! Mini skirts come in all colors and different styles (like denim, pleated, and suede). The length can also vary, making it a great piece for women of all shapes and sizes.
