11 of the Most Annoying Things People Do On Snapchat

Who doesn’t love Snapchat, right?  150 million people around the world use it every day. It’s the go-to app when anything interesting (or anything, period) happens. With its crazy filters and Discover section, Snapchat is one of the most exciting apps out there today. While it’s fun to use, some people tend to over-do it. Check out these annoying things people do on Snapchat:

1. Send You the Same Picture That’s On Their Story

Let’s say your crush sends you a picture on Snapchat. You would feel super special, right? Yes, until you look at their story and see the exact same picture. Or what about those people who post irrelevant things on their story, and, for some reason, it’s also sent to you? It’s not hard to check the “Story” box without checking my name, too.

2. Snap Every Second of Their Life

Okay, seriously, if you aren’t a celebrity, we don’t want to see everything little thing you’re doing. Some people actually take the time to snap every second of their day! If you do this and see my name in your “views,” just know I skipped through them all to clear out my updates.

3. Snapping and Driving

This is probably one of the worst things people can do on Snapchat. Not only is this annoying, but it’s also extremely dangerous. We don’t need to see how fast you’re going, nor do we care. Save yourself and your time, and don’t Snap and drive.

4. Drunk Snaps

You know those tongue-out, loud singing, tripping over stuff, “what is she doing,” “LOL” snaps? Yeah, stop that.

5. Snap Every Meal

No one cares to see what you’re eating for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Unless you’re snapping a photo of the cafeteria food to warn others not to eat it, we don’t want to see it.

6. Add So and So

Telling your Snapchat friends to add someone else on Snapchat to chat, because they’re funny, etc., is definitely one of the most annoying things you can do. You don’t need to promote your friends. No one is going to take the time to add someone they don’t know, anyway.

7. The 100 Second or More Stories

Ughhhhhh. *Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Gives up and watches someone else’s story.*

8. Late Night Snaps

I never understood why people would post at 3, 4, or 5 a.m. to ask if anyone else is up. Oh, yeah just send me a random snap at 4 a.m. because I’m always up at that time on a Thursday.

9. Extra Loud Snaps

When someone sends you or posts a snap with unexpectedly loud music, nearly killing your phone’s speakers.

10. Posting Snaps While in the Bathroom

Whether you’re showing off a new bath bomb or taking a selfie while brushing your teeth, this is just TMI. Not only do we not care, but I think most people would just prefer not to see this.

11. Using the Dog Filter… All the Time

The dog filter is the most overused filter on Snapchat. Some people just don’t understand how boring it is to watch them over and over again, sticking their tongue in and out their mouth. Stop it. We’ve had enough.
