Winter break is here, and while it may be tempting, try not to get sucked in to doing NOTHING. Sure, it’s a great time to relax, see your family and high school pals, eat real food, etc. But you can also make excellent use of your time by winning a scholarship for next semester. Since I just graduated this past May, this winter holiday season marks the first time I don’t get a month break from school and work. Bummer, I know. Always remember, every $500 or $1,000 or $10,000 that you can come up with in scholarships is that much less that you have to pay back in student loans. Anyone else having problems with winningsurveys.com? I try to register and I keep getting an error message that they can’t verify my address. I’m entering it correctly, and have tried a few variations (Avenue instead of Ave….).

The Free College Scholarship and the Military Scholarship have to be confirmed from your e-mail to be entered. It will show up in your e-mail if you did everything right.

Not to sound negative or ungrateful, but I would really like to know if anybody ever actually WINS any of those scholarships. I don’t see the incentive for those companies to just hand out $10,000, and I’ve never actually heard of anyone winning.

Can you please recontact the 10K Free College Scholarship/Free military schol. people and then report your findings? The most recent winner was supposedly drawn on 11/14/08 and yet this organization has claimed to have a monthly drawing.

I talk to this company at least once a week – I assure you they give out the money they say they do. Sometimes it’s just a process to get someone’s information verified, disperse the funds, and get them up on the site! Thanks for your inquiry tho
